Mirko Bajsic 1956 geboren in Lepoglava, Kroatien.
Aufgewachsen auf dem kleinen Bauernhof seiner Großeltern, verlässt er im Alter von 15 Jahre die Heimat, um seine Mutter nach Deutschland zu folgen.
Hier fängt er als Autodidakt mit Ölfarben auf Hinterglas zu malen, auf den Spuren von den kroatischen naiven Malern aus Hlebine, Bauernmaler, die Motive aus der eigenen, einfachen bäuerlichen Leben malten.
Obwohl seiner Kunst viele Stilelemente dieser Schule zuzurechnen sind, hat der Künstler Inhaltlich und stilistisch eine eigene ganz persönliche Bildwelt erfunden, von neuen Anreizungen geprägt. In der Tat beeinflussen die immer wiederkehrenden Aufenthalten in Umbrien – Italien seine Malerei und neben den kleinen Häuser und Hütten mit Strohdächern erscheinen immer wieder die typischen umbrischen Steinbauernhöfe, die Vegetation verwandelt sich und nimmt die krummen und fantastischen Formen der Olivenbäume an.
Seine Gemälde erzählen mit Spontaneität und Bescheidenheit zeitlose Geschichten in einem schrillenden Feuerwerk der Farben.
Im Jahr 1998 stellt er sich das erste Mal mit einer Einzelausstellung in München der Öffentlichkeit vor, und seit dem folgten mehrere Einzel- und Kollektiv-Ausstellungen in Deutschland, Kroatien und Italien.Mirko Bajsic nato il 1956 a Lepoglava, Croazia.
Fino all’etá di 15 anni vive con i nonni in una piccola fattoria, dopodiché lascia il suo Paese natale per seguire la madre in Germania.
Qui inizia a dipingere come autodidatta con colori ad olio su vetro, seguendo le orme della scuola naïf croata dei pittori di Hlebine, artisti contadini che dipingevano la semplicitá della loro vita quotidiana.
Nonostante molti degli elementi stilistici nelle sue opere siano da attribuire a questa scuola, l’artista ha creato una visione del mondo tutta sua, personale nei contenuti e nello stile, plasmata da nuovi stimoli.
I suoi ricorrenti soggiorni in Umbria – Italia, influenzano la sua pittura ed ecco che oltre alle piccole case e capanne con il tetto di paglia, sempre piú frequentemente si affacciano nelle sue opere i tipici casali umbri in pietra e la vegetazione assume le forme contorte e fantasiose degli ulivi.
I suoi dipinti raccontano con semplicitá ed immediatezza favole senza tempo in un’esplosione di squillanti colori.
La sua attivitá pubblica inizia nel 1998 con una mostra personale a Monaco di Baviera, attivitá che prosegue con varie mostre personali e collettive in Germania, Italia e Croazia.Mirko Bajsic Born in Lepoglava, Croatia in 1956.
He spent his childhood on the little farm of his grandparents, at the age of 15 he left his homeland to follow his mother to Germany.
There he began his behind-glass-painting with oil colours as a self-taught artist , following the Croatian naïve painters’ trails from Hlebine, peasant painters who pictured their own simple rural life. Although his art shows many style elements of this school, the artist created his very own contentual and stylish image of the world, influenced by new stimulations.
In fact his periodical vacations in Umbria – Italy, affect his painting so that next to small houses and cottages with thatched roofs of straw the typical umbrien stone-farms appear, the vegetation changes itself into the buckled and fantastic forms of the olive trees.
His paintings tell timeless stories with spontaneity and modesty, with a bright firework of colours.
In the year 1998 he introduced himself to the public with a single exhibition in Munich, since then several single and collective exhibitions have followed in Germany, Croatia and Italy.
